What a great experience the last few months have been so far . . . craftily speaking.
I took my Copic certification in St. Louis with the amazing Lori Craig in the Spring. Then, just last weekend, I just took the intermediate Copic class with the very talented Debbie Olsen. I'm so fortunate to have been able to take these classes with both of these women.
The first weekend in June, there was a scrapbook and stamp show in Springfield, Massachusetts that I recently attended. It's one of my favorite shows to go to. Unfortunately, the town had a tornado come through a few days before the show.
A part-time job that I have is for a craft chain and I held a Make It, Take It for a Father's Day card on Friday night. I love doing these events when kids attend. They're so creative and such out-of-the-box crafters that it makes me smile every time I work with them.
And yesterday, I ran a crop at the same store. The ladies that come are wonderful, they share their tips and ideas and I always learn something from them.
Now, I'm expanding into the world of blogging, we'll see how that goes. Like most things in life, I jump in feet first and figure it out as I go.
